Storeroom Clerk
Location: Forest, VA
Responsible for receiving merchandise, marking it with internal part numbers, stocking shelves, picking/allocating materials to fulfill internal manufacturing orders, completing transactions and updating the inventory management system. May involve heavy lifting and some overtime.
- Perform clerical duties in a storeroom setting. Storeroom/inventory experience desired.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Possess solid math skills.
- Good customer service/phone skills.
- Data entry experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work product is important.
- Check received storeroom materials as against the documents.
- Mark items with internal part numbers or inventory control codes.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Help internal customers fill orders/allocate materials.
- Handle storeroom supplies in an organized scheduled manner.
- Handle and record movements of incoming & outgoing storeroom materials.
- Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensure adherence of established safety standards of storeroom management.
- Available to work overtime when required including some Saturdays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties as identified and directed by the Storeroom Manager/Spares Coordinator.
