The Model 2280 Removable Magazine Buffer allows product to be buffered in the middle of the production line in either FIFO or LIFO mode. The product is buffered in magazines, which can also be removed. With standard Simplimatic magazines, the machine can buffer up to 50 populated boards without operator intervention. The machine can also be customized to handle most third-party magazines types.

Typical applications include:

• In-line buffering before bottlenecks or inconsistent processes, like manual assembly areas
